Bert,

Only from one frame of reference does Earth spin like a top.
But don>t you think that if Earth really did spin like a top, we would all
get flung off from it?

In one frame of reference the Earth is flat as a pancake. Just go out side
and observe the ground for yourself.

To those that understand relativity, and what it really means, it makes
just
as much sense to say that the Earth is motionless, ane the universe
revolves
around it, as it is to say that the Earth rotates, and the universe is
motionless.
I know I have heard this, but how does this get around the "nothing
moves faster than c" rule with all those stars and galaxies zooming
around the Earth at FTL speeds?

***Relative to the objects around them, they are not moving at all.
Everything>s relative, rememember?
One day we will be in a spacecraft somewhere between the Milky Way and
Andromeda.

When we are between the two, in primordial drive, we will know the true
meaning of the nature of motionlessness.
No, we will still be in motion with regards to the two glaxies.

**Only from one frame of reference: that of things almost infinite distance
away. Not from the immediate frame of reference at all.

Just imagine being in such deep space. You can tell you aren>t moving.
Because you can>t have motion unless you are comparing the states of two

Aren>t you motionless right now, as you sit at your keyboard typing?

Of course you are.

At least his fingers are in motion.

***On the average, they are not.

Think relativistically, and we will conquer the stars.
