I find John Edser>s definition of "Total Darwinian Fitness" [=the total
number of strictly fertile forms reproduced per parent per population]
serviceable because it is realistically stretched/smudged or smeared-out.
Thus far TDF is an EPT-aligned concept.
Moreover, what makes this (approximately absolute) Edserian concept even
more EPT-aligned, than so, follows from a realistically fuzzy tolerance
principled (and also in every other ways science-aligned) philosophical
logic.
When this admittedly loosely lingual or etymologically pioneering type of
logic is employed in a percEPTive and tenatious pursuit of evolutionary
psychobiological type truths, then it automatically leads to the conclusion
that that concept of "TDF" implies what it is that "Darwinian selection"
most centrally selects.
That is, "Darwinian selection" most centrally selects from the primary
products of parents (procreators); products that are perfectly obviously
offspring in the form of initially more or less immature individuals.
It is likewise obvious that _what_ Darwinian pressures most centrally select
from is precisely such "initially more or less immature (some of which may
mature and produce offspring)" individual organisms.
The most general classification (a dichotomy) of Darwinian selective
pressures (of the "evolutionary pressure totality") is:
On one hand, there are Darwinian selection pressures that are primarily
negatively naturally selective (and accordingly chaping of phenotypes in
phylogeny); On the other hand (or on the other side of this didactically dug
ditch or didactically drawn dividing line) there are "pressures" that are
primarily and/or predominantly "positive" - that is, lifetime events or
environmental influences that primarily and/or predominantly can be seen to
present or 'offer' a constructive (and evolutionary) "patterning
opportunity".
[However, in a most primordial or fundamental possible (most extremely
extrapolated explanatory philosophical type) sense, primarily and/or
predominantly constructive (or "opportunity type") evolutionary pressures
are primary, whereas primarily and/or predominantly destructive (negatively
or adversely) naturally selective) evolutionary pressures are secondary.]
Darwinian pressures of opportunity type are aptly left unsubdivided whilst
Darwinian pressures of "adversity type" have been percEPTively (or equally
far from inEPTly) recognized to contain a class (or sub-"sept") of lifetime
challenges that do not only directly decisively select for animals capable
of "specific/synaptic hibernation" but that also tend to become
"Conditioned-in Unconscious Reverberative States (the source of sensory
stimulating was "specific hibernation imploring type stressors) Effecting
(subsequent) Symptoms.
Such "CURSES"-type neurological imprints (a type of memories that we have a
very hard time to wrap our minds around) acts as "an amplifier" of adversely
naturally selective environmental (Darwinian) pressure.
Finally:
In the lives of individual animals [not least importantly in the lives that
were part of prehistorical populations of which our pre and proto human
ancestors were members], currently impacting "SHI-type" situations do
frequently combine not only with past (no longer environmentally pressing)
such predicaments that are being preserved and that *exerting an endogenous
pressure* in the form of CURSES, but can also occur in significant naturally
selective overlap with one or more of a great variety of procreation
promoting enironmental opportunities. This has lead to an inevitable (and
logically in-dEPTh - hence not very "strange") "attractor" in the direction
of what I have come (through plenty of error plagued trials) to refer to as
"AEVASIVE" - used as in "AEVASIVE behaviors", "AEVASIVE preoccupations",
"AEVASIVE individual psychologies", "AEVASIVE euphemisms" or "AEVASIVE
personalites", etcetera).
The first two capitals of this last acronym 'explicitly' represent the
naturally selected/phylogenetic outcome of this particular "overlap". They
stand for "'Ambiadvantageously (adaptive and accordingly established)
Evolved' ...".
