Does anyone know what this device is and a pinout? I think it may be
Toshiba>s equivalent to a 7915 -15V 3 terminal regulator, but it would
be nice to know before replacing it. Toshiba doesn>t make it anymore
and disavows any knowlege of the device.

Exact name ist TA79015, and you are right, its a -15V/1A regulator.
