Colleagues,
I currently moderate a 300+ plus Swahili listserve made up of members
from Kenya, Zanzibar, Tanga, Uganda and other parts of Africa. The
networking at the group is great as you will not only get daily
updates of the Swahili culture but get to ask questions you have about
the language, etc.

simply email me with the word "Subscribe me to the Swahili group"
The Kiswahili group not only discuss Swahili language but its history.
There is a need for a forum where people all over the world can
exchange information about the Swahili people, its culture and
language. This is an unmoderated forum for the discussion of issues
relevant to the Swahili Culture. All topics for discussion relevant to
the Swahili people are appropriate but would include, not exclusively:
Swahili language Swahili history Swahili literature, music and Arts
Swahili customs and traditions Swahili politics Swahili economy
Swahili nature
The primary language here are in English and Kiswahili. Join us!!
