that evolutionists consider it acceptable. Unless you think that
humans and our society have done as much evolving as they can and both
are now perfect. And if you believe that, then you are quite frankly

Evolution is a scientific theory, written by scientists. It makes no
attempt to say what acceptable behaviour in our society is - that>s
what we have moral philosophers for.

I don>t know what tinpot excuses for schools you>re used to, but the
scientific method is at the heart of science education in every school
I>ve attended. As it should be. And "alternatives are disallowed" is
directly contrary to that scientific method. If someone came up with
an alternative to evolutionary theory (or anything, for that matter)
which explained the observed facts better, then I am sure that it
would be accepted. However, people opposed to evolution have taken
refuge in mythology instead of trying to come up with a plausible
alternative, forgetting which theory evolution replaced anyway.
Everything I was taught in science classes was taught as a theory. And
this didn>t stop social education classes telling us (rightly) about
the wrongs of domestic violence and similar unpleasantness.
Maybe I was just lucky. Maybe other schools aren>t as good. I don>t
know.
