I heard about a study quite a long time ago and wouuld like to get at the
source information or at lease a link to a credible source about this study.
I hope I remember it well, its been a while. The study done was with 3
groups of animals. all animals were given food and water. one group was
given positive strokes (petting etc..). another group was given shocks.
the third was ignored. The animils that were given positive strokes and
shocks both maintained the same weight where as the ingnored group lost
weight.

If anyone can give me help to find this it would be appreciated.
