Hi all,

I need to perform the following task:

1. I have an input dataset of certain dimensions (i.e. 256^3)
and I have to break it out in smaller cubes of say 64^3

2. I calculate the 3D-FFT of each single block

3. Now, my problem is this: if I perform an inverse 3D-FFT
on each transformed block and then merge the "new" blocks
all it>s ok (I get back the original dataset); but if
I apply any filter on the transformed blocks and do the same
procedure (inverse transform & merge) I don>t get back a filtered
dataset as I expected, but I get back the original dataset plenty of
ugly signs on it!

Can anyone point me to a solution if any exists ?

Thanks in advance,
Max
