I noticed, there is lots of spams again on the forum. Is not there
something we can do to stop it? |

You could simply stop participating.
That would solve your issue entirely, and mitigate ours. |

An absolutely rude, f**ked up troll reply, Neil Brooks! Are you one of the
spammers, Neil?
Zetsu wrote about a very serious problem, to see if we could come up with a
solution!
This newsgroup used to be a good place to go, to learn about vision, about
new advances in contact lens materials, etc.
Now, it has been completely ruined by spammers!
A very serious problem was brought up by Yetsu, to see if we could come with
any kind of solution. And you answer with that idiotic reply!

Neil>s solution sounded good to me. absolutelyinvincible (lately
posting as Zetsu) is the source of much of the garbage on the group.

I don>t see the problem. Perhaps my ISP is better at blocking spam. I
see very little spam on this group.

I guess I was not familiar with Zetsu.
It>s true though about spam. Little of the posts on the NG these days are
about vision at all.
You say you see little of the spam. Which newsreader app do you use?

My ISP is sonic.net, and although it is growing, it has its biggest
presence in my area. I suspect that they catch a lot of the spam before
it hits me.
I use MT-NewsWatcher for my news client. Note that it only runs on the
Mac.
