Never seen it beofre but I would assume this to be the parachute
excape guide rail as it looks like it terminates near the hatch. I
thought the rail it was round. (maybe it is at the hatch
end) ...........Doc http://www.nasa.gov/images/content/290812main_s126e005026.jpg

Quite a signifigant structure as I imainge it would have to be.  I
wonder if it is anchored before closeout or during  (time for assembly
etc).  BTW a rather flimsy curtian for the WC I would say I would
trust it is on rails top and bottom 8-(  I thought the "curtian" was a
paneled accordian type of deal, ...........................Doc

I assume that the problem with having gravity hold the curtain shut
occurred to both of us at the same time. :-D
The toilet itself always reminded me of the front end of a Volkswagen:http://www.windows.ucar.edu/kids_space/images/toilet_sm.jpg
Spacious, the Shuttle lavatory isn>t:http://lh5.ggpht.com/_JbbDwdHga0I/RWjMOGEkABI/AAAAAAAAAxY/V1MdNeULYXo...

Something comes to mind about the phrase "He got caught every which way,

the VW sim, it does. Wouldn>t use it if it looked like a 57
