hi,
I am using the Seti@Home GUI client on XP, and I would like to cache some
WUs. I downloaded Setigate, and tried to set it up according to the word
doc. I could get my statistics and a cached workunit, and I could run the
Seti@Home client from setigate, and I configured both the client and
Setigate to talk over the port 5001. But when I tell the client to connect,
I get the error :
"can>t connect to internet, SOCKS server not found". I put "localhost" in
SOCKS host parameter.
Does anybody have a hint of what I did wrong?
Thanks.

Yes:
don>t use SOCKS server, but simple proxy server: localhost:5001 or 127.0.0.1:5001 instead. I>m using
same conf (but CLI client...)
