Hi
How do I get rid of the SetiDriver icon on the bottom of taskbar without
closing the program itself? Running on Win98SE .

have you found the reason yet why SD slowes down
my Win 2k especially why i can>t properly use
IE, nor Netscape without having to kill SD

The only reason why I want to get rid of the icon is that my 14 year old
thinks it is a virus.

Axel,
email me with a picture of your task manager while SETI Driver is running.
Sort on the CPU column so the highest CPU usage programs are at the top.
SETI Driver should show 00 in this view.

What OS and what>s the complete path to SETI Driver? I have service
configurations for Win98, ME, NT4, 2K, and XP.

Erm... Instead of trying to hide it you could always explain to him that it
isn>t a virus.
I know it>s sometimes hard to convince a 14 year old that he>s wrong about
