Hello fellow poultry lovers

I>ve recently stumbled across this group and figured it>s about time I
introduced myself.

My wife (Anne) and I live in East Kent, UK (between Sandwich and Deal
for those who know the area).

We have one cock (Wellie) and nine hens, a mixed bunch varying from
Rhode Island Reds to Isas to a lone bantum.

I have seen the epic "charter" thread, so I>ve got a pretty good idea
of what you>re about...

PS. Wellie has become a verb, you can guess what it means ;-)

Many thanks for the welcome.

I>ll see what I can do about the photos - there are hundreds...

We>ve been keeping chooks for about three years. It>s pretty popular
around here - I think there are five people with chickens in our
(tiny) village, and most of us have cocks (is roosters the PC term?),
so the air is full of the sound of crowing all day long (night time
too sometimes).

Any of the readers that put child control on their computors will not read
the post and it can attract the rubbish we do so well without [automatic
pickup of words?]
Using other words means that either trap is circumvented :~))
Otherwise absolutely nothing

what a pity, because I like the word "cock", it>s like our old German
word "gockel" which means the same. We could also use that one ;-)
