<patgardiner@btinternet.com> wrote:
Doubts have been suggested here about the future of the Usenet. It does
attract cranks and did for a time attract paid lobbyists.

The lobbyists are rapidly realising that this powerful media resource is a
double edged sword, unless they tell the truth the whole truth and nothing
but the truth. Not a phrase that appeals to lobbyists with much to hide.

They will be gone soon. They thought that it was "different and
unregulated." It is different and unregulated, but it is not beyond English
Law. The kids think that despite evidence to the contrary: adults should
realise otherwise.

The controls are exactly the same as if you stood on a soapbox in the high
street and told lies, distributing leaflets as you did so. The police might
remove you for being a nuisance and making a noise, but the content of the
leaflet will be what will hang you.

The cranks will remain, but so will campaigners. Campaigners can get a
message out and so long as they are truthful, nothing much will happen to
them.

As a young man, like so many others, I visited Speakers' Corner, but I also
visited the Tower of London on a regular basis, where there is a similar
rather strange exemption from the laws of slander.

Both are some of the glories of the remnants of English democracy and free
speech, the one ironically near to the scene of many judicial murders by the
axe.

The place was full of cranks standing on soapboxes screaming abuse at their
audiences and being protected from assault by bored policeman.

But there too were giants of free speech like the Rev. later Lord Soper.
Don>t mention giants. Derek Moody the troll likes to dress up as a
giant puppet quite often. Not sure if it>s just to turn him on, or
scare the children!
The Usenet is the same. It is damned hard work to get past the hubbub.

But I have a secret weapon.

Almost everything I have to say can be confirmed from published sources.
Even some of the hints are there to be found. I>m not talking about matters
of opinion, especially political opinion or of disputed science.

I>m talking about matters of public record, company accounts, criminal
prosecutions and convictions, transcripts of Court cases, ownership of
assets, Hansaard.

It is all there for anyone with Google, even on the other side of the world,
for young men and women full of ideals and anxious to make their mark on the
world.

British pig health does not add up. Delve, check and cross check. Forget the
puff and bluff, forget the rhetoric and the spin, the opinions and the
talking up values.

Start with the Bushmeat Fabrication. Check, crosscheck and recheck. It you
can>t find some strange connections, court and tribunal records, I will be
amazed. Look for funny money and former Ministers.

Just do the work.

Britain has been deliberately hiding up animal epidemics of diseases that
can kill people and in large numbers too. When they do get caught as they
did with CSF and FMD, they lie about the source to redirect anger.

They are going to have to test the pigs for MRSA and admit to a continuing
PMWS epidemic. The time for that is now.
Sadly I fear they wont be hanging anyone out to dry unless there is a
mass class action.

Oz and his bully boy lobbyists and pro hunt extremist friends will
just have to do with drag hunting as they find more and more time on
their hands, although Oz does seem quite busy complaining about local
planning applications of his neighbors. I wonder if they are aware who
they have in their midst?

For clarification to the general public and for the benefit of the
archives that would be the Afrikaans ponce and bully of
uk.business.agriculture known as

Oswald Hotz De Baar
Upthorpe Farm
Moreton Road
Aston Tirrold
Didcot

Oxfordshire
Tel: 01235 851747
Fax: 01235 850747

I>m currently doing some excavating myself on that very person.
Perhaps Jim could get me a grant?

I remember SUMMER 1963 Woolverstone Hall Under 14 XV The team:
Lingard, Davies, Bartlett, Hindle, Danek, Nazeer, Rose, L, Lover,
Wild, Read, Skinner, Hotz de Baar, Harris, Paul Templeton, Jones.
where Oz tendency to bully come to the fore even then. Mind he did go
on to Cambridge and attain a not too disturbing 2.2 Hons. Nat. Science
Pt. 2

Shame he couldn>t make use of it.

That was of course circa 1970/71 which left plenty of time for him to
have been washed up on the shores of UBA.
