Critical thinking demands dispassionate and mechanistic
observations of objective evidence. Cognitive meaning (Virgo) and
emotive meaning (Pisces) are at opposite ends of the dimension we know
as perspective. Cognitive meaning conveys information[1], while
emotive meaning seeks to evoke feelings[2]. A critical thinker (or
just a true believer), therefore, can control others less critical or
logical, by their ability to evoke emotional meaning whether it
contains any reference to reality or any evidence. The emotions
according to the less-than-critical thinking person’s perspective are
the evidence. Self delusion may be the result. Religion employs this
conceptual framework.

Astrology is the macrocosmic study of the solar system cell, against
the backdrop of the galactic body. There is evidence that this study
has cognitive meaning. To extend the cognitive meaning to emotive
meaning is a fallacy called an accident.[3] The reason that humans do
such things is because they are not taught that critical thinking is
the highest order thinking, but that emotive meaning is sacred. Hence,
religious and political leaders use this defective perspective to
control populations to believe certain policies.

On a Sunday in 1961 in Cleveland Ohio when I was 6 years
old, my father had the usual difficulty getting me into a suit before
heading off to church. But this day it was excruciating for me as I
could not fathom the reasoning behind it and the dread was not going
away. After my fathers experiences with this Taurean as an infant
trying to put my arms through the sleeves of a piece of clothing I was
determined not to inhabit, he paused for quite a few moments when I
said forcefully; “I can’t understand why “God” would want me to be so
uncomfortable just to wear clothes like this, why does he care what I
look like?” The awareness of senseless ritual was deafening, and I was
told later that this was when the decision was made not to force
religion on the children.

“There still remain four irreducible objections to religious faith:
that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that
because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum of
servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result
and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is
ultimately grounded on wish-thinking.”[4]
In 1984, the Roman Catholic Church began to experience the complex and
highly embarrassing problem of clergy sexual misconduct in the United
States. Within months of the first public case emerging in Lafayette,
Louisiana, it was clear that this problem was not geographically
isolated, nor a minuscule exception.

The conceptual mythology of Orion is the drama of how beliefs and
control builds monuments, and destroys civilizations.

· Derivation: The identification of these three stars as a
belt is a very old one. The Arabic names of two of the stars reflect
this: Mintaka means 'the belt' and Alnitak means 'the girdle'. (The
name of the third star, Alnilam, means 'the string of pearls'.) It has
been suggested that the three Belt-stars influenced the placing of the
Pyramids at Giza, and it is certainly true that there is a remarkable
correspondence of position between the Pyramids and the stars.

An Astronomical Bestiary

· Perhaps second only to the Big Dipper in Ursa Major, the
constellation of Orion is one of the most recognizable patterns of
stars in the northern sky. Orion, the hunter, stands by the river
Eridanus and is accompanied by his faithful dogs, Canis Major and
Canis Minor. Together they hunt various celestial animals, including
Lepus, the rabbit, and Taurus, the bull. According to Greek mythology,
Orion was in love with Merope, one of the Seven Sisters who form the
Pleiades, but Merope would have nothing to do with him. Orion>s tragic
life ended when he stepped on Scorpius, the scorpion. The gods felt
sorry for him, so they put him and his dogs in the sky as
constellations. They also put all of the animals he hunted up there
near him. Scorpius, however, was placed on the opposite side of the
sky so Orion would never be hurt by it again.

· See also another version of the Orion myth written by Kevin
Grey. This article was contributed by Kevin Grey

· Orion, the hunter of Taurus the bull, and Lepus the hare.
Followed faithfully by his companions Canis Major, and Canis Minor, he
is the dominator of the northern sky. Madly in love with the daughter
of King Oenopion of Chios, Metrope, Orion was consistently denied
marriage to her. His love for her raged, and while in a drunken
stupor, raped Metrope. Oenopion consulted Dionysis, and found revenge.
Dionysis casted Orion into a deep sleep, and plagued him with
blindness. Upon awakening Orion sought the help of an Oracle. It told
him that to gain his sight back, he would need to travel east, and let
the rays of the sun strike his eyes. Orion did this, regained his
sight, and later lived in Crete, where the goddess of the moon Artemis
fell in love with him. Her love for him was so strong, that she failed
to light the evening sky with moonlight. Orion>s death came about when
Apollo challenged Artemis to hit a speck among the waters of the
ocean, not knowing that this speck was Orion swimming. Artemis shot a
single arrow killing him. In response to her actions, Artemis placed
Orion, along with his companions Canis Major, and Canis Minor in the
sky, near the seven daughters of Oenopion, the Pleiades. Here they
remained as the mightiest hunters of the night sky.

The Orion-Theory

· In 1994 the book The Orion Mystery by Robert Bauval and
Adrian Gilbert caused an uproar in the Egyptological world. There is a
striking resemblance: three stars in the middle of the Orion
constellation, diagonally but with one star deviating, and three
pyramids, also with one deviating from the diagonal. And the relative
positions of stars and pyramids match each other perfectly. But the
authors found even more similarities which cannot be explained by
coincidence: Star brightness and pyramid size: Giza consists of two
almost equally tall pyramids and a smaller one which is only 53% of
the height of the other two. The belt of Orion consists of two almost
similarly bright stars, and one with only 50% of the brightness of the
other two. The smallest pyramid is the one which deviates from the
diagonal, as does the dimmest star! http://www.eridu.co.uk/Author/egypt/lost.html

Egypt is our symbol for the Orion extremes.

By transit the coming Uranus/Pluto squares will challenge critical
thinking and our long held beliefs regarding creation. The first of
these is constructed for Washington DC below. Uranus (recognition of
choice) in Aries (self definition) will square Pluto (emotive control)
in Capricorn (pragmatic physical control and perceived status).
Jupiter (philosophical concept) squares Neptune (emotive conveyance)
the lines of definition become very permeable. The spiritual conflicts
with the material.

As indicated in the article Paradigm Shift this collective crisis will
be determined by the degree of the transformation of emotive meaning
into cognitive meaning. The degree to which we can let go of fairy
tales about the creation of the Universe and our place in it and
employ our true calling of critical thinkers, will be relative to the
degree which we are released from the “Bands of Orion” and our self-
created need to be stung by the unforeseen Scorpion, or rise to the
occasion of Celestial Hunter.

Before all of this, we must meet the "Full Externalization" of the
Jupiter/Saturn conjunction of 2000 economic de-structurization as
Jupiter opposes Saturn opposed Uranus...To be continued...

"Though the desert sands may parch my throat,
sting my skin and blind my sight,
still I march with calm resolve,
through the darkness of the night.
For I know that deep beneath this lifeless land,
a mighty river flows,
to quench my thirst and bring relief,
from the painful path I chose."

He Could Not perform any act of critical thinking if his life
depended upon it.

his greatest claim to fame was he managed a minimum background check
to work on some sort of assembly line with a government defense
contract. None of which required an ability to preform critical
thinking.
