I am researching the phenomena where someone
can be DNA tested say by blood sample and
say buccal cells and a mismatch occurs in one allele.
That is proven by repeating at different times
and techniques.
I assume it occurs in mitosis at or between oogenesis
and stem cell generation to produce diffent
cell lines.

Would anyone know how frequently this is
observed and what the effect is called. ?

In paternity testing there would the accepted
rate of allele disparity between offspring
and parents is 1 in 1000 generations.
