Yet our culture and our civilization came from Greece and Rome, not
from Northern Europe. And it was strongly tempered by the Arabic
civilization that flourished in the Iberic peninsula during the middle
ages. The rest is a rather recent veneer - pretty, useful, but no more
than a veneer.

So, maybe your archetipal "titan" has black hair and a Mediterranean
tan ? And a Latin or Greek last name ? With a few Arabic noses mixed
in ?
