Had a problem with red mites in a 10 bird wooden construction poultry
cabin. Moved the chickens to another cabin, cleaned and sprayed the cabin
to saturation, inside and out with a proprietory powder that you mix with
water and spray on. Left for 4 days to dry and checked it thoroughly. No
sign of mites. Returned the birds, and within a week their shaving filled
nest boxes are showing dense clumps of mites. Is there any other known
fix to rid the cabin of these pests? Saw an interesting clip on a UK TV
channel tonight, about introducing a predatory insect into greenhouses
and poly tunnels, to rid them of aphids and other enemies of crop
growers, and it made me wonder if this is a possibility for mite
eradication?

Thanks for any tips.
