I would say that, while the authors make some of the
common cookbook errors, their results are borne out by
the data. One can always argue that the data were not
correctly gathered, or that there are other factors, but
this is the case with most studies of human populations.
Those who claim that it is wrong because there cannot be
this large a genetic component need to justify that. I
do not know about the authors, but Jensen suggested that
the National Academy of Sciences repeat his studies with
samples collected with their larger resources. According
to the NAS member who told me this, there was little
support for even considering this.
