....which raises an interesting point.
This part of the crust is riddled with fractures

In fact the weather is using them to reduce the whole place to rubble
as fast as it can. And every piece of rock shows a "spatial
derivative of displacement" with respect to the next. But would you
call it deformed (in a geological sense)?

The place was once flat as a tack at the bottom of the sea, but it got
uplifted and now the river is cutting it back down to equilibrium.
What 'ice cap' forming was responsible for the dropping sea level to
this extent? And why isn>t the whole world where it>s equally high
then incised by canyons this deep?
In other words how does the crust get 'uplifted' like this, get
fractured all to hell, and yet show no deformation? (Though George-of-
the-Light would probably want to argue it *IS* deformed.) (He>s like

Yep, you have a good point there Don and I was amazed at Stuart
claiming "Strain the spacial derivative of displacement" Obviously
some half digest Calculus coming to the fore here while the obvious
for any Mechanical & Physics most basic mind is that "Displacement is
the spatial derivative of Strain"
Primitive then Derivative & not tossing around with non-invertive
concept since always Physics has preseance over Mathematical
legerdemain ... just like that fool of Einstein playing round with an
anthormorphic concept which has NO foundation at all except the one
related to our ephemerous lives indeed !

Now sicne your illustrated you discourse with a link to a Lutheran
church, I went to visit the people there and noticed they were all
overfat and indeed easy prey for the luring in the corner Thrombosis

Hence I took the liberty to write to those God fearing people the
letter below. I have had a thought while doing so to our friend
Georges on the off chance that he might belong to the Lutheran Church
indeed.
He is certainly over fat like all those poor junk & soda feeding
people and I am appaled to note that not only Americans like
Australians are not able to built houses standing for Centuries, but
as well are not able to look after their most precious belonging which
is their onw biological tool & support.

that 6 kg in 24 hours for someone weighting 73 is the norm but for
someone being at 90 15kg in 24 hours weight loss will be reached
easily and so on ! My system which I give away to suffering Humanity
is now used in Switezland, Australia, Brazil especially to help people
to get rid of heavy metals poisoning. It is called the Turcaud Bath
since I gave it my name for none to claim it as his and pretend on
rights ... I want that invention to be free for all !
If you are interested I will forward that Turcaud Bath system to you
and it will be used with no ties attached at all ... of course I have
no trust whatsoever in the Quacks drug pushing business and hence that
freedom towards rooted diseases and the incapacity to most of
achieving a return to better health without recourse to any drug at
all, is something which those diseases businessmen do not appreciate.
