Sleep

I think sleep is giving up it>s secrets.

We need 7-8 hours because it takes that long to go
through the 2 part process of
a. processing and holding in nurturing and b.
processing and excreting out waste (non nurturing.)

TWO PARTS
The first part of sleep is the deep sleep or NREM.
This is used to utilize nurturing, and to store
nurturing. (Option 3 of the four options).
The second part of sleep is the on and off again REM
sleep. This part tears down non nurturing and prepares
this waste for excretion. (Option 4 of the four
options).

LENGTH
The first part is about 2-4 hours. The 2nd part is 4-5
hours in a healthy sleep period. Though it doesn>t
seem to be quite that inflexible or rigid.

DREAMS
There are few dreams in the first part. I contend that
because they are during a period of nurturing-in, what
dreams there are, should be somewhat pleasant.
The 2nd part of sleep with its common nightmares, seem
to mimic the body processes. The body is attacking non
self or waste for excretion, and the nightmares
display this conflict of self against non self in
symbolic dreams.

TWO BODY TYPES
There seems to be a window of development in childhood
where the child sets up a pattern of how quickly or
slowly he will process nurturing.

IF he is getting too much nurturing / food-in, his
body will respond with a pattern of FAST food
processing - fast because there is so much food to
process. This leads to too quick food processing for
the adult, or the underweight person. This should also
suggest that thin people have a faster processing
pattern in other areas of their lives.
And under eat to compensate for the over fed pattern.

IF he is getting too little nurturing / food-in, his
body will respond with a pattern of
SLOW food processing - slow because there is so little
food to process. This leads to too slow food
processing for the adult, or the overweight person.
This should also suggest that overweight people have
a slower processing pattern in other areas of their
lives. And over eat to compensate for the underfed
pattern.

TESTS
There should be a general correlation between eating a
lot, eating heavy food, and eating late, with longer
periods of sleep. And shorter periods of sleep
connected with less food in, less heavy foods, and
foods eaten many hours before sleep

SUMMARY: Sleep is a two part period of food processing
that requires about 7-8 hours to complete in most
people. The first part is deep sleep that processes
food / nurturing to use or store. There are few
dreams. The 2nd part is lighter sleep with some REM
periods. During this period the body attacks non self
and prepares this waste for excretion. Dreams seem to
match the pleasant first part of nurturing sleep, and
the unpleasant second part of waste out sleep.
A processing pattern is set up in childhood and is
extremely difficult to change.
Too much food during the pattern set up and the body
processes food too quickly and always desires less -
underweight body pattern.
Too little food during the pattern set up period and
the body processes food too slowly and always desires
more - overweight body pattern.
If true then more food, more heavy food, and food
eaten just before sleep should require more sleep time.
