Newbie question about breaking traces on perf board

I>m doing a little project on a perf board that has lines of traces (all
in one direction). I>ll have local "runs" of 2-5, which will be
isolated by breaking the trace on each end. What is the best way to do
this: Exacto knife, Dremel, vibrating engraver, other?
