Well, I>m not sure if you>re talking to me or the psychopath, but,
I guess both but I don>t know who the psychopath is anyway
Roger "Rocky" Wittikind, who>s been taken to court for extensive
stalking
of a female previously
Dougface is the psychopath because he is lying to you.
He is lying because it wasn>t "stalking" and he failed to tell you that
even
without an attorney I won the case against me with a unanimous decision.
so, don>t respond to him if he e-mails.
Dougface also fails to tell you that I have people impersonating me and
once
when he received an e-mail he thought it was me. He even posted the
e-mail
for all to see and it proved it was from one of my impersonators! He
was
such an Idiot then and he still is.
Dougface is the psychopath here since he lies about others.
He also posts here (misc.transport.trucking), frequently, under the
names
of other posters, and also develops bizzare and schitzophrenic titles
for
himself.
Dougface is the psychopath because he uses fraud against others and he
has
been doing that for years.
He has a score of self aggrandizing web pages that explain his tragic
and
victimized existence.
You can be your own judge of that by checking out:
http://OverProtectiveMother.com
He>s an unemployed mental patient from East Moline, Il, who>s
attempted
to
assume a trucker>s persona (no one knows why).
Once more Dougface is the psychopath because he uses outright lies or
fraud
against others.
MTT just had a poster that tried to support dougface>s outright lies
and
after he found out he was wrong he has told the group he will leave and
not
come back. I am waiting for Dougface to follow in his footsteps.
I have him killfiled so I can>t see his side of the conversation with
you.
All that means is he is a sucker for all the lies told about me and he
will
gladly repeat them himself to anyone he thinks is as gullable as he is.
Rocky
I rest my case.
He obviously never heard of the addage that it is sometimes better to be
thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
substitute psychopath for fool and we have roger.

A charger will plug into the wall and hook onto the battery.
A jump box is like a small breifcase that you charge up elsewhere, and
then carry to, and hook up to, your battery for a boost.
Both have benefits.
I walked around the entirety of the garage and the closest outlet was
about 60 feet away. That>d be a really long extension cord.
Not for a small charger.
Of course, I>m a homeowner, and can think of a dozen other uses for a
60 ft cord where you may not.
I used to be a homeowner, had a house in Roanoke but sold it, and now
have a
tiny condo
I can dig that.
Assuming that counting on a donor car for jump starting is
disadvantageous-
not disadvantageous, more like I would have to stalk the garage in the same
way perhaps as the person you described above til someone actually
manifested a presence down there
there are a handful of cars down there, and live bodies just don>t show up
when I do.
Do you think you could get your battery out of the car?
perhaps, especially if I had a diagram of what to disconnect
do I need anything other than a simple wrench
I threw my tools away when I moved to the condo, although my dad gave me a
small wrench so I could assemble some kitchen stools he bought for me
)
You -could- carry the battery to an Advance or Autozone autoparts store-
they>ll charge and check it for free.
Keep in mind that they>ll be pre-disposed to try and sell you a new
battery.
You said this one was about a year old- where did you purchase it?
This is so weird. The car is a 95 or 96 I forget which. I had the original
battery til about 05 when AAA replaced it.
They sent one of those cute little battery vans
Then, I had it for about 2 years, just exactly the life of the warranty and
needed a new one.
AAA showed up again with one of those cute little battery replacement trucks
but the dude didn>t have an extra battery (said he>s sold his last one) so
he towed me to one of those Mr Goodyear type places (about October 07) and
they put in the new battery
Now, you>d think it wouldn>t have died - I last drove it two weeks before I
went to start it up again.
Sure, I could have left the signal light on or something, but now I>m not
sure.
The battery didn>t seem to be dead, but when I turned the key it made a
rapid click click sound and some of the electrical things still worked (eg,
I had enough power to lower the window)
Still my dad said it was the battery. I didn>t have time to deal with AAA
that weekend, and next week of course the battery was completely gone
So the Goodyear service station is about half a mile>s walk. I think I
could get there.
I guess if I take the battery out I could put it in a knapsack or something
It kinda boils down to whether you want to fix the problem, or
temporarily circumvent it.
Don>t know
I don>t use the car except about a weekend or every other weekend
Extension cords are probably useful in condos too. small or not. I just
don>t want a lifestyle that requires extension cords because I trip over
them and break my nose or something
That>s a unique way to put it-
When I got divorced, I tried to reduce my material possessions to where
they would fit into one pick-up truck bed- it was liberating.
I did the scale down bit as well. I was on the road on assignment for 4
years and finally got a permanent assignment. I got used to living in a
boxlike container with few possessions. So I bought a boxlike container
where I wouldn>t feel like I needed to accumulate anything more

It sounds like your best bet would be to buy a battery booster box- that>d
save the extention cord, and give you some future protection.
Once the car is running, you could take it to the local auto parts store
and have it checked out.
