The Gore Effect writ large:
Globally averaged temperatures have gone down approximately .38° F.
since Al Gore released An Inconvenient Truth at the Sundance Film
Festival on January, 24, 2006.

Have a pie.

As are offshore winds such as the Santa Ana.
