Yes, Doug - IMAGINE the tarring and feathering that would have gone on
if Michelle Obama had supported a group recommending Illinois leave
the union. OMG!

[quote]Actually, Doug, it>s called criticism.  Moaning is what the left does.

Again Marsha, you need to double up on the dose of Kool-Aid because
again you are speaking about more things that you know nothing about.
You try having your rights taken away. I wish you were told that you
could not be married and then you may understand this. There are
many Californians who voted YES, who feel deceived because the
propaganda that was put forth in CA had nothing to do with equality.
It had to do with lies. They believed the lies and the propaganda
that the Mormon Church spend 22 million dollars putting out and now
they feel deceived as well. The gays and nongays are not happy with
the fact that their rights were taken away, but they are even matter,
as are other Californians at the fact that the Mormon Church spent so
much money, and sent buses and buses and buses and made millions of
telephone calls to Californians from Utah area codes further pushing
an agenda that they had no business working for.

So the gays will soon get their rights restores in California and
eventually in the whole United States. What happened in California is
going to have repercussions in every state of this union and in every
church and every bigoted family. The day that 8 passed will go down
in history in years to come and everyone is going to say, we are very
sorry that this had to happen.

So you can call them moaners and people stamping the feet but again,
keep drinking the Kool-Aid because you don>t have a clue about what
you are talking about.

Yes, just like the "informed conservatives" who really think that Sara
Palin is qualified to be ... well, anything. The "informed
conservatives" who really believe that Wall Street executives,
brokers, and bankers really understand the derivatives and the amount
of risk. The "informed conservatives" who believe investing massive
drilling anywhere possible in th U.S. will make America independent
of foreign oil. The "informed conservatives" who who believed that
it was perfectly fine to borrow huge sums from China to finance a war
in a country that was not a direct threat to us.

All those uninformed conservatives like Christopher Buckley, Kenneth
Adelman, Colin Powell, and Susan Eisenhower just didn>t get the
received wisdom.

You>ve been moaning about Obama for a long time, and now you have to

it>s pretty clear that those policies can be considered a massive

The reason Obama got elected is pretty clear, IMO - a hell of a lot of
very uninformed voters went to the polls on election day.

Marsha, what makes you think we>re uninformed? Because our wishes and
opinions differ from yours? Believe me, there are a hell of a lot of us out
here who read every scrap of information available about all the candidates
before the election and made an informed decision when we pulled the lever.
I could say that all those who voted the Republican ticket were incredibly

the party was spouting, but I>m going to credit you with more intelligence

Maybe. Many moons ago when I did telephone market research surveys,
practically all of the political ones were manipulative, which is why I
refuse to do any political surveys these days.

Also, in trying to determine who is telling the truth in this
"healthcare" situation -- some people say its the perfect answer and
great and others that it is the worst thing to ever potentially come
along...which is it?

I find comments like these made by a Canadian a bit disturbing and
more reliable than those who claim to be sharing facts......

"We have that in Canada. Sounds good on paper, but when people are
really sick?

Canadian government sends them to the states for treatment, pays their
apartment, food, car rental for months at a time for things like
prostate cancer treatment ( most popular one I know of) because we
cannot afford proper equipment with our free healthcare.

If the states did what Canada has done, then where would sick
Canadians go for help? You Americans would also go into healthcare
crisis, like us. Then what? We all fly to Europe for 'real'
treatments? Keep your healthcare please...we need it! lol"
