I agree that name-calling and trying to act holier-than-thou don>t further
anyone>s cause, and those attitudes sure don>t make anybody APPEAR superior
to anyone! That>s actually part of the reason I dislike Sarah Palin. She
did a lot of both during the campaign. Even though I know she was
fulfilling the usual VP candidate>s role as attack dog in the election, it
was infuriating.

[quote]It is astonishing to see the savage way in which some people,
especially women, attack and vilify Sarah Palin - she sure seems to
cause a rise in the blood pressure.
Spewing contempt for other people>s opinions and viciously demeaning
her and other citizens for having a different view is, frankly, what
is truly insulting to everyone and tends to point out one>s own
ignorance.
Neither side has a lock on this -- on both sides of every issue,
name-calling and "snickering" simply make a person sound like a
sputtering immature bigot.
What a shame. If there is something earnest to say that could
actually be meaningful, without civility and courtesy it means
nothing.

Obama was nothing but courteous and civil during the campaign. Palin
was neither, with her talk about the "real" America, the "patriotic"
parts of America.

Keep drinking the Kool-Aid Marsha because that is about all you got
going for you to back up the crap that you are posting about SP. In
case more of it comes up showing it my stepbrother did the one who did
the restoration on the Governor>s Mansion in Juneau and is a large

capital. My BF>s grandchildren go to school and are in the same

What you have heard is not half of the crap that has been done by the
Palins. So you can claim that she was found not guilty and that is
only true if you take the source as the people she appointed, not the
LEGAL verdict and not the one that people in Alaska are trying to get
enforced. So just keep drinking the Kool-Air Marsha because you are
the one that is seriously misguided when it comes to SP. You don>t

Happy Thanksgiving people, that is unless you caught SP with her

and you lost all of your appetite.

As compared to? Let>s see. Mayor of a small town, which she promptly
ran into debt, and embroiled in an ongoing legal dispute. Governor
for less thn two years of a state with less population than Obama
represented as a state legislature. Pushed through a tax increase on

She thinks her foreign policy experience is great because she can see
Russia. HELLO. That makes me more qualified.
Even you fell for the poll that started for this thread. She never said
she could see Russia. Tina Fey was guilty of that remark. Palin said
that Russia could be seen from parts of Alaska, which is true. And she
never said that makes her foreign policy experience great. She simply
stated a fact. Being that close to Russia would make me a little more
aware, too.

You>ll have to wait a long time. He>s already made statements on the

Palin is a joke and the fact that some perpetuate this just adds to
the humor. She is an idiot. Self-serving and star-struck. They could
have dropped McCain, the alleged candidate, and these idiots would
have tried to vote her in as president. Obama is careful and
considered- well spoken. He is calm and rational - not reactive - just
what we need. Not a gun-toting, wolf-shooting bimbo with questionable
ethics.
I didn>t know Palin shot wolves. Bimbo? Questionable ethics? Meow.
That means about as much as making fun of Obama>s big ears, which has
nothing to do with anything. Obama is calm and rational, as long as he
has a script in front of him and no one asks him any hard or misleading
questions, like Palin was subjected to. Nothing like voting present on
all the hard issues in his home state, so he doesn>t get caught actually
voting for or against anything of significance.
