No wonder the Soviets couldn>t claim they landed on the Moon first if
that is the state of their ability to fake space photos :) I mean you
can even see the wires hold-ing up the models!-) And who are the giant
alien heads supposed to be? Are they the ones who sucked all the
vegetation off the surface of the planet leaving it all brown and blue
with no green?

It was a model prototype of their fly-by-rocket hard-lander, as
configured to survive impact and dig itself out after diving deep into
the thick and crystal dry moon dust.

....Docking Module basic concept model. Wasn>t intended to be too
accurate, just enough to show how the DM was sized in relation to an
Astronaut/Cosmonaut, and how the Andro port on the Soyuz side fitted
together. I>ve seen this photo before, but didn>t have a copy of it
until now. I may have to add it to my ASTP page.

Before the Apollo/Soyuz mission an Apollo/Salyut one was proposed, which I
presume this is a model of.
