linguists, you have yourself, and only yourself, to blame if you find
your work criticized, and competently criticized.
You have shown that you are unable to accept entirely matter-of-fact

I use a Nokia phone. So Finland has been good to me. A friend of mine
used to drive Russian vodka across the border from Saint Petersburg.
He would get so-so vodka in Russia for 2 euros (80 rubles or so] a
bottle and sell it in Finland for 20 euros a bottle. He said he loved
it in Finland, but that when he tried to speak Irish, they corrected
everything he said, so he gave up and just tried to get by in English.
