PORTLAND, Ore. -- A burglary victim in Southeast Portland caught the
suspected thief on camera after he returned to steal again.
The homeowner had a surveillance camera set up at the house on the
1900 block of Southeast 44th Avenue after a recent burglary.

Portland police said on July 16, video captured the man in the
victim’s bedroom taking jewelry, change and an iPod.
The suspect was described as a black man, between 18-24 years old,
6-feet tall, weighing 180 pounds, with a medium afro haircut. He was
wearing a dark blue or black T-shirt, baggy blue jeans and white
shoes.
Detectives said the suspect was also carrying a blue folder, possibly
trying to pose as a door-to-door solicitor.
