Ummm,
Is that Arabic or East Indian? Us westerners get confused once you get
to another language. I know that for me, Chinese and Japanese are about
impossible, so maybe an initial pointer to the English crowd or a choice
of languages would be nice.
One thing I would like to see is the invention of a universal language,
taking the best words of each language to describe some thing, so that
even us pompous Americans would have to learn it. The font would have to
be ASCII and not something inefficient like the 2 keys for one Japanese
character/word. If people could all communicate in the same language I
think we would all be better off.
I know, dream on.

That was going on about the time I was in high school, 60>s. If it had
an esp(anol), (english) and maybe some other stuff, but it seemed to be
more of a Western Europe based language (to pacify the Hispanics?).
These days something would be good for one 'Global' community rather
than trying (hopelessly) to learn 10, 20,....100 different languages for
all the world trade going on. I took French, but in California it should
have been Spanish. Now add in the weird ones like Arabic/Muslim and then
Japanese and Chinese and you have 3 completely different sets of
characters. Japanese and Chinese look the same to me, but are totally
different languages.
Now that we have Global Internet the need is even bigger.
It probably will happen if we don>t screw it up.

The likes of Harvey Norman have barrells of thumbdrives of various sizes and

Stick with SanDisk. I use an 8 GB one without a problem. The shit ones
break, had very bad device driver support, and will make Windows crash and
burn without warning.

I have several Imation thumbdrives in various capacities and have
never had problems with them. However, I had symptoms similar to what
you describe with two Exigo units purchased from CitySoft about 18
months ago. (Probably why CitySoft had them on special at the time.
I suppose I could have fought the good fight and perhaps succeeded in
getting a credit or having them replaced; but it was easier, and in
some ways more satisfying, just to refrain from ever buying from
CitySoft again.)

yep, the Sand disk units are pretty good. If you happen to get the
Cruzer version with the U3 system and applications, just delete it. They
often have these on special. There is an un-installer on their web page,
or you can reformat, but it is a simple task.

Same here. Do NOT buy Astone drives. Both of the ones I>ve had (512MB

Leaving the unit in the USB jack with the write protect off does a lot
of wonders for a drive stick when OS>es like Windblows is constantly
writing to it along with user added software.
