The first was set up on the OUSA Classical Particle conference.
The second was set up on four conferences,
in the pseudo Student Research Faculty.
Needless to say both the conference and
the faculty were subsequently closed down by order.

Big Bertha Thing Serpico

Serpico was an honest cop in New York, that was all he ever wanted.
As he lay, in his hospital bed, recovering from being shot in the face,
all he could bear to watch on TV was Sesame Street.

At one time or another, he had upset every cop on the force, except one.
Now, he even had mayor John Lindsay, dancing in attendance.
He still thought, it was worth it.

Now he lives in Switzerland, on a disability pension.
There is this incredible sense of deja vu,
even down to the walking stick.
Most days he feels fine, even if occasionally he could sleep for a week.

What is the cake-mix recipe for a fusion reactor?
1. There is no such thing as a self-sustaining fusion reactor.
2. There is no such thing as cold fusion.
3. That leaves high energy particle physics.
4. With the puffing billy principle of steam engine fame.
5. Take the two-ring medical electron cyclotron as the prototype.
6. Add another ring to it.
7. Dismantle the first two rings.
8. Update it to use a ball-bearing instead of an electron.

11. Add a space satellite ion thruster.
12. Prove the existence of a magnetic field, which is weak at newtonian speeds

The "Spider tops," which are frequently sold in the streets of London,
consist of a heavy little disc mounted on a spindle (Fig. XIV.).
When the disc has been set spinning a small curved piece of

Big Bertha Thing Bertha

First Big Bertha posting was to first aid tent
in OUSA Classical Particle Conf.,
to provide aid and comfort to victims,
who had been set upon by unnamed e-mail thugs.

There was no way to make direct contact,
with shell shocked victim, so we tried Big Bertha.
The trick worked and first victim is well again,
after saying, "At last, a normal man!"
Since then Big Bertha has developed a life of her own
and actually caught some thugs in the act.

First posting consisted of two anecdotes effort and repairs,
from Big Bertha Thing gamma and particle respectively.
Effort was also the last assault rifle shot fired.
Rollover and shotgun below, were the first Big Bertha
sent in anger, with reply to all sender and copy to conf.
Progress and anecdote forward was first cannon shot fired.
Spider and fact(newsletter and readership for astronomy)
was first landmine explosion,
which was not even deployed on OUSA Astronomy.

Big Bertha Thing apology(Rollover)

Please accept my apologies for troubling you.
It will not of course be repeated.
However 3 net surfers have responded
to my call to help out on the Conf., by volunteering.

In emergency situations, needs must.
You and your fellow net surfers number 3, I see.

To defend against a denial of service attack on a newsgroup,
use the same tactics that Big Bertha Thing uses
on the most wanted list guys.
1. All threads are one posting long.
2. All replies are posted to one thread.
3. No postings of most wanted are read.
4. No replies to most wanted.
5. No direct criticism of most wanted.
6. All criticism should be pictorial, literate, allegorical
anecdotal and out of copyright.
7. It is a defense in English law that something which is not
libelous in one context, cannot be read in another
context as libelous.
8. This is also true of English universities, where the guy has tenure.
9. Corporate branding can reinforce trust, as well as irritation.
10. A group of guys posting across several newsgroups,
can have strategic reasons for their choice of newsgroups.

Things appear to be working. I was able to ping the downstream
(SETI@home-operated) router interface, and the traffic started flowing.
Again, because it *appears* that the problem originated within the
private network in the SSL complex. I cannot comment on what was done
to resolve the issue.

I am a Chinese astrophysics student. In response to the article.

Incredible, modern scientists - primarily the Brits and Americans are
propagating the anthropocentrically idea that white dwarfs are natural
phenomena. PULSARS are NOT NATURAL phenomena. They>re possibly advanced
civilization navigation beacons much like a lighthouse is to a ship on
the ocean (see earthlings). These scientist are fools to think that the
laws of gravity and electromagnetics are the same at vast
distances.

"A pulsar is a type of neutron star, a collapsed core of an extremely
massive star that exploded in a supernova. Whereas white dwarfs have
incredibly high densities by earthly standards, neutron stars are even
denser, cramming roughly 1.3 solar masses into a city-sized sphere.
Pulsars give off radio and X-ray pulsations in lighthouse-like beams."

Pulsars are possibly virtual extraterrestrial lighthouses that can>t be
decoded with humanity>s digital signal processing and it thwarts the
paradigm. Read "Decoding the Message of the Pulsars"
by Paul A. LaViolette, Ph.D.
One of LaViolettes premises is the mathematical placement of the pulsars
to the center of the Milky Way Galaxy - most are a perfect radian from
the center of the Milky Way.
The power>s that be do not want a younger generation to harbor
the idea because it would throw a monkey wrench into their archaic
paradigm.

Incredible, modern scientists - primarily the Brits and Americans are
propagating the anthropocentrically idea that white dwarfs are natural
phenomena. PULSARS are NOT NATURAL phenomena. They>re possibly advanced
civilization navigation beacons much like a lighthouse is to a ship on
the ocean (see earthlings). These scientist are fools to think that the
laws of gravity and electromagnetics are the same at vast
distances.
